The COVID-19 pandemic has affected millions of people around the world directly, sometimes with dire health outcomes, and many more millions, if not billions, indirectly. The resulting social and economic effects continue to affect us all in unprecedented ways. However, we are strong, united, and we are committed during these times to doing what it takes to ensure the safety, health, wellbeing, and peace of our people and our communities, all while keeping our economy moving, to ensure we continue on from this historic period well.

 

There are many unforeseen factors currently affecting business today, including but not limited to unprecedented demand as people enthusiastically invest in at-home environments, supply chain disruptions, localized retail closures, critical employee safety measures, and more. These factors continue to make forecasting spa completion and delivery dates a challenging proposition. We ensure our customers we are doing everything in our power to produce spas in a safe, efficient, and timely way, without ever sacrificing our non-negotiable product quality standards.

We are taking the following measures in our offices, retail locations, and production facilities and encouraging the same care with our dealer partners.

Personal health practices: Washing hands, social distancing, while encouraging personal responsibility, vigilence, and care.

Workplace health practices: Sanitizing surfaces, accommodating workplace health etiquette, employing personal protective equipment (PPE), temperature testing, canceling travel.

Community health practices: Supporting and adhering to CDC and local government guidelines while encouraging team members to care for family and community health and encouraging our dealer and supplier partners to do the same in their communities.

Common questions about COVID-19 and our response

Q: Are your dealers and corporate locations open for business?

 

A: Yes, most locations remain open where local regulations and advisories allow. However, whether or not they are are open physically, nearly all store locations have created methods for purchase of spas, maintenance items, and accessories by phone, curbside pick up, online, or in no-touch consultations in the backyard. In situations where a physical facility is open all precautions are being taken to sanitize all doors, counters, and product surfaces regularly. Social distance with customers is being observed at all times.  Contact your nearest dealer or company store for specific options in your area.

Q: What is being done to ensure the safety of your employees and their families?

 

A: Bullfrog Spas believes in creating peaceful lives, this includes our employees, contractors, and partners. At this time all Bullfrog Spas facilities have taken the necessary precautions to ensure maximum sanitation of surfaces, adherence to PPE requirements, adequate social distance, and we have policies in place that allow for remote work where possible and accommodations for at-risk individuals.

Q: Can the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 be spread by hot tub water?

 

A: No, according to the CDC website, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”

Q: Is it possible and/or safe for me to visit a store during the coronavirus outbreak?

 

A: Yes, perhaps. While we always recommend that our customers follow all local health advisories and commerce mandates, in places where stores are open dealers are taking measures to ensure customer health and safety. We are advising dealers and our own company stores to take all possible measures to sanitize, maintain social distance, and to provide low contact or no contact methods for conducting commerce. However, in nearly all locations, whether or not you can visit a store, you can conduct business over the phone and by way of virtual and online tools.
