Personalizing Your Bullfrog Spa: Interchanging JetPaks & Adjusting Jet Power

Here is a quick guide to help you through the exciting process of personalizing your spa experience.

 

Interchanging JetPaks

With Bullfrog Spas, you have the power to change your JetPaks to suit your preferences. Each series has its own method, so let’s break it down:

 

Swim Series

 

1. 1. Put the spa in Standby mode by pressing the pause/standby icon.

 

1. 1. Lift and remove the headrest and Snap-Cap.

 

1. 1. To remove the JetPak, push downward on the manifold and release it from the wall clip.

 

1. 1. Lift the jet plate straight up to remove it.

 

1. 1. To exchange the JetPak, align the new JetPak’s lower valve and gasket with the bulkhead fitting.

 

1. 1. Apply downward pressure to secure the manifold in the wall clip.

 

1. Place the Snap-Cap and headrest back over the JetPak and snap it into place.

 

M Series

 

1. 1. Put the spa in Standby mode.

 

1. 1. The Snap-Cap remains attached to the spa. Pull upward on the front of the Snap-Cap to release. Rotate and slide back towards you to access the Jetpak.

 

1. 1. Apply pressure downward and push the manifold towards the inside of the spa to release from wall clip.

 

1. 1. Lift the jet plate straight up to remove it.

 

1. 1. Align the new Jetpak’s lower valve and gasket with the bulkhead fitting.

 

1. 1. Apply downward pressure to secure the manifold in the wall clip.

 

1. For M Series snap caps, press down on the front to secure and press the rear to engage the snap feature.

 

STIL

 

1. 1. Put the spa in Standby mode.

 

1. 1. Lift and remove the head rest and Snap-Cap.

 

1. 1. Apply pressure downward and push the manifold towards the inside of the spa to release from wall clip.

 

1. 1. Lift the jet plate straight up to remove it.

 

1. 1. Align the new Jetpak’s lower valve and gasket with the bulkhead fitting.

 

1. 1. Apply downward pressure to secure the manifold in the wall clip.

 

1. Place the Snap-Cap and head rest over the JetPak and press down firmly to snap it into place.

 

A Series

 

 

1. 1. Put the spa in “Standby” mode to deactivate the pump(s).

 

1. 1. Remove the JetPak by sliding a hand between the pillow and the spa, pushing it away from you and toward the inside of the spa.

 

1. 1. Place the JetPak in the desired location and align it in the JetPod area.

 

1. 1. Secure the JetPak by seating the blue gasket at the bottom into the manifold.

 

1. Pull or push firmly into place until you feel the J hook engage, locking the JetPak in place.

 

Adjusting Jet Power

To adjust the jet power in your Bullfrog Spa, the process differs slightly depending on whether you are adjusting the power on a JetPaks or on a fixed jet (non-JetPak).

For Fixed Jets: Turning the individual jet clockwise will ramp up the power, while turning it counter-clockwise will reduce it.

For JetPaks: You can find a valve at the bottom of each JetPak. To increase the power, simply turn the valve counter-clockwise, and to decrease it, turn it clockwise.

 

Additionally, for a targeted boost of power to a specific jet or section of jets, you can close the surrounding jets. By doing so, you direct all the power from that pump exclusively to the open jets, intensifying the massage experience in that area.

 

Flow Diverter Valve Instructions (X Series only)

For X Series spa owners, the diverter valve allows you to direct the water flow precisely where you desire by allowing you to dial up the pressure in a specific part of the spa for a truly powerful and robust hydromassage. There is one diverter valve per pump. This valve looks similar to the air control valve, but is the larger of the two valves. Turn the valve in the direction you’d like the water to flow. To evenly distribute water flow to all seats, set the valve in the middle.

 

Additional Personalization Tips

To ensure an optimal spa experience, keep these additional tips in mind:

 

• • Achieve a perfect balance by selecting a combination of high flow and lower flow JetPaks for each pump. This prevents massage intensity from too many high flow jets on a single pump. If you feel like the massage intensity is too high or too low on a certain pump, try moving the JetPaks to different seats.

 

• • For an extra boost of power to a specific jet or section of jets, try closing the surrounding jets. This directs all the power from the pump to the open jets, intensifying the massage.

 

• Remember to clean and maintain your JetPaks regularly to ensure consistent performance and longevity.
