Green Hot Tubs and Spa Construction

No wood is used to produce a Bullfrog Spa. The base is made of ABS, the support columns are injection molded Z-Beams and the cabinet is a beautiful synthetic wood. Because the components are molded to an exact size, waste is significantly reduced. Any excess material can be recycled and reused. The support backing material of a Bullfrog Spa shell is not fiberglass which means its production does not release any harmful air pollutants into our environment. Bullfrog Spas are so energy efficient that all models comply with the stringent California Energy Commission requirements without any hottub modifications.

The foundation of a Bullfrog Spa is solid with consistent structural support around the perimeter and underneath the spa. These supports in high-usage areas strengthen overall spa integrity. Our spas are also full foam insulated. This yields incredible energy efficiency, but also helps support the weight of the spa and ensures that all components are locked into place. Bullfrog Spas are built with only the best synthetic materials so the spa structure will last for years (lifetime warranty) without concern of wood rot or metal corrosion.
