Get to Know Flora
What got you into triathlons?
I did my first triathlon when I was seven years old and I’m actually from Bermuda so I did the race in Bermuda. I absolutely fell in love with the sport.
Why did you choose Bullfrog Spas?
I wanted to get a Bullfrog Swim Spa because they offer dual purpose. I can use it for my training with the swim setting. I can get lost in my thoughts and just focus on my stroke and technique, but then I can also use it to relax, unwind, and recover.
What is your proudest accomplishment as a triathlete?
Winning gold at the Tokyo Olympics was just a crazy surreal moment. It’s so hard to put into words what it felt like because it’s been my dream since I was little and then here I was realizing that dream.
What does your training schedule look like?
At the moment, my training week looks like six swims a week, six rides a week, four runs a week, and three gym sessions. That works out to be about 25 hours of training.
