JetPak of the Month
The NeckBlaster

This month’s featured JetPak is the NeckBlaster. The NeckBlaster is hailed as Bullfrog's most impressive JetPak. Ten small, volume-controlled jets target neck muscles while four adjustable and interchangeable pulsating jets sooth the upper and lower back muscles. Donna, a Bullfrog Spa Customer from Corning, CA had this to say about the NeckBlaster:
”I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful JetPak system spas. We love our Bullfrog Spa, and use it daily.
My husband had lower back surgery about 15 years ago, and he is in our spa every morning to loosen up the lower back muscles so he can enjoy his retirement days golfing or just working around our home. His favorite is the Oscillator JetPak.
And of course women and men being different, I enjoy the Neck Blaster on a daily basis. I have been an accountant for 25 years, and after a day of sitting at the desk, my shoulders and neck are a mess. I have several issues going on in the neck area, and at this time none are severe enough for surgery, which is good and bad. The pain is there daily, and my time in the spa, with the neck blaster, just loosens the muscles, which help decrease the stress in the disc and vertebra area.
Our Bullfrog spa is the second spa that we have owned. I am so pleased that there was a dealer close by so we could actually touch and feel the different JetPaks, and the staff at Paramount Pool & Spa in Red Bluff, CA are great when it comes to customer support.”
The NeckBlaster is the largest of all of our JetPaks and uses a very high flow rate to deliver its therapeutic massage. Because of its power, it has become the “go to” JetPak for many of our customers, just like it has for Donna. For 20% off the purchase of the NeckBlaster, take the coupon at the bottom of the page into your local Bullfrog Spas dealer and have them help you configure your spa to include your newest JetPak.
Do you have a favorite JetPak? Contact us at newsletter@bullfrogspas.com with your comments. If we use your comments in next month’s edition of the Bullfrog Newsletter, you will receive 2 free Bullfrog Hats.

Cleaning Your Spa Filters
One of the most important steps you can take to keep your spa water crystal clear is to regularly clean the spa filter(s). It is a simple thing to do and can have a dramatic impact on the quality of the water in your spa. Filters are designed to remove contaminants such as dirt, soap, oil, and other loose particles from your spa water, keeping it looking fresh.
Here’s how to properly clean your filter(s):
First, put your spa in standby mode. This step will vary depending in the year and model of your spa. Refer to your owner’s manual for the steps required on your specific spa. Putting your spa in standby mode will put the filter cycles on hold and allow you to remove the filter(s) for cleaning.
Next, remove the filter cap by gently lifting it up on the outer edge. This will expose the filter(s). Remove the filter(s) by turning them in a counterclockwise motion.
Now that you have removed the filter(s), you are ready to clean them. Take a garden hose with a high power attachment and spray off any loose particles on the filter. Work from top to bottom on each pleat so that every part of the filter is thoroughly rinsed.
Next, soak the filter(s) in a solution of warm water and a filter cleaner to remove body oils, suntan lotions and other such contaminants from the filter.
If you notice an excess amount of calcium buildup on the filter(s), soak them in a solution of pH decreaser and water, the typical ratio being two tablespoons of decreaser per gallon of water. This will remove the calcium buildup from your filter an allow it to more effectively clean your spa water. To prevent future calcium buildup from occurring, be sure to keep you spa’s pH levels in check.
After you have thoroughly rinsed and cleaned your filter(s). Reinstall them in your spa by turning them in a clockwise motion. Replace the filter cap and press any button on the control to take your spa out of standby mode. You are now ready to continue enjoying your spa.
Repeat these steps every 3-6 weeks, depending on how often you use your spa. Doing so will help keep your spa water looking its best. We also recommend replacing your filter cartridges with new ones every 1-2 years, again depending on how often you use your spa. For more information about filter cleaning, or to purchase the products mentioned above, contact your local authorized Bullfrog spa dealer. They will be able to provide you with products and chemicals that are best suited to your specific area.
