Hi-Tech Hot Tub Company Welcomes New CEO

Hot tub industry veteran, Jerry Pasley named Chief Executive Officer at Bullfrog Spas. Plans to lead innovative up-and-coming spa manufacturer to the next level.

Jerry Pasley - Bullfrog Spas President and CEOSALT LAKE CITY, UTAH –   Bullfrog International, LC, is pleased to announce the hire of Jerry Pasley to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Pasley was formerly the Executive Vice President of Sales at Jacuzzi Hot Tubs and Sundance Spas.

Mr. Pasley will assume responsibility for the general leadership, sales direction, and day to day decisions at Bullfrog Spas. David Ludlow, former CEO, Founder, and the inventor of Bullfrog’s patented JetPak System, will remain with Bullfrog Spas as President and will focus on further Product Research and Development and Business Development. Ludlow welcomed the addition of Pasley to the executive team and, in fact, was instrumental in his acquisition.

Ludlow expressed his support and approval of this move: “Jerry Pasley is not only a seasoned pool and spa industry veteran, but more than that, he shares the vision of what Bullfrog can become and he has the ability and industry influence to propel Bullfrog into a leadership role in the marketplace.”

Mr. Pasley has nearly 30 years of experience in the hot tub industry, with a focus on sales management and sales strategy. He has served on the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals’ Hot Tub Council and has considerable experience in the development of retailer and distribution networks. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) as a Director at Large.

When asked about the decision to leave one of the major manufacturers in the industry, especially considering their history and recognizable brand, Mr. Pasley replied, “In making this decision, I was not concerned about what Bullfrog Spas is, or is not, at the present time, but what it can become. I can see enormous potential at Bullfrog going into the future. The track record of impressive growth is already there and with their patented technology and quality Bullfrog will soon be an industry leader.”

Mr. Pasley’s goals for Bullfrog include securing solid financing plans for Bullfrog dealers and the establishment of enhanced sales and marketing programs to expand the influence of Bullfrog Spas and the JetPak System. Pasley commented on these plans, “I’m confident that we can explore and implement plans to allow dealers to show more spas. Along with the expansion of sales networks, this will simply allow many more people the chance to discover the unique benefits and the reliability that you get with a JetPak-powered Bullfrog Spa.”

We purchased a spa from Aqua Rec Fireside Hearth and Home, in Puyallup, Washington, on September 30, 2015, it finally came November 19, 2015, and today, November 23rd, 2015, our Bullfrog Spa is non functional. It has a faulty control board. I can’t even get an answer as to how long it will take for the control board, really, as it should be overnighted, without question. My new Bullfrog Spa is sitting outside, full of water, cold, not working.

I am totally frustrated with the place that we are doing business with, not your fault, but the Bullfrog Spa that is not working is. From the first day, the spa is BROKEN! Control Board.

I can not get answers, totally frustrated with the customer service in which we are receiving with Aqua Rec, again not your fault, BUT….. can you make sure that companies that you are selling your product represent your name and if and when there is a problem with a your spas, that customer service to the buyer should be top notch and turn around fixes are a priority.

At this time I want only to send back the Bullfrog and get a different brand!!!

I realize that I am writing to you and probable won’t get a response, but I needed to vent to you about how disappointed I am about my spa not working. We have had two spas prior, and never have we had an experience like this.

Why don’t businesses that carry your product have a spare control board on site? We were told that Bullfrog Spas never do this? Lucky us.

Frustrated with deciding to buy a Bullfrog and more frustrated with the place we purchased it. I know the later is our problem.

    Thank you for listening.

My name is Frances Bertrand. I bought my Bullfrog less around 18 months ago. Love it but I am very disappointed in the quality product of head rest. We haven’t used it a lot in the 7 months but each time we did I noticed a rubber materiel in the water and on the sides.. Make long story short, I called my spa people and they told me that there was no warranty, which didn’t make me happy. So I called Bullfrog. Spoke with a very nice tech, who also tells me there is only a one year expressed warrant. After texting pictures, which he said didn’t look that bad and again explaining how upset and disappointed I was, he gave me a one time good faith replacement. I truly appreciate the replacement. I just felt that the company needs to make sure that they take care of this issue from happening again! I would really like to mail them to quality control so they can see how awful they became. I had to replace every head rest – I had to empty the hot tub and clean it – including the filters. Thank you for taking care of the issue but I feel that as I have come to learn, I am not the only one that had an issue with the head rest material, you could have make it much easier by allowing the dealers to handle the problem!

Thank you for the feedback. We truly apologize for the experience and want to assure you that we are looking into this as both an opportunity to improve the product and our dealer training.
